How To Prepare For A Dyno Tune

  • The mechanic will check the quality of engine and transmission oil in your vehicle. If the vehicle is due for service, you may have to change these oils.
  • The air filtration system must be perfect; otherwise, the car will have an improper air-fuel mixture.
  • Your mechanic will assess the engine block for signs of wear or cracks. A cracked block could shatter under severe stress.
  • The mechanic will conduct a compression test to check the condition of the pistons, valves and piston ring.
